Moderator presents 2 Motorbikes to Gomoah Mission Field in the Central Presbytery

The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Rt. Rev. Prof. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante has presented two brand new motorbikes to the Gomoah Mission Field in the Central Region of the PCG to support the mission work of the Church in the area.

The two motorbikes were donated to the General Assembly Office by Mrs. Janet Nkrumah, a member of the Emmanuel Congregation of the PCG at Madina and the Presbyterian International Worship Centre at Legon, Accra all in the Ga Presbytery.

This was in response to an appealed made by the Moderator of the General Assembly to church members, institutions and organizations to donate motorbikes to the Church to support evangelism and mission work of the PCG in order to achieve the ‘Vision  1.5 agenda by 2023.

Rt. Rev Prof. Mante, led some officers of the Church to present the motorbikes to the Central Presbytery Chairperson, Rev Alex Owusu Addo at the Head Office on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

Presenting the motorbikes, Rt. Rev. Prof. Mante thanked the donors for the kind donations to support God’s work at this time. He expressed the desire of church members to donate regularly to support the mission work of the church.

Receiving the motorbikes, the Central Presbytery Chairperson, Rev Alex Owusu Addo on behalf of the Presbytery thanked the Moderator for the kind gesture which, he said, would go a long way to support the evangelism drive of the Church in the Gomoah Mission Field.

Present at the presentation were Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, Chairperson for the Ga Presbytery, Rev Solomon Nii Mensah Adjei, Ga Presbytery Clerk, Rev Dr E. K Sarbah, Director, Mission and Evangelism at the General Assembly Office, Rev. Mrs. Esther Oduro, Director Church Life and Nurture at the General Assembly Office, Rev Sowah Ablorh Madina District Minister, and Mr. Ludwig Kofi Hesse, Ga Presbytery Lay Representative on the General Assembly Council.
