The Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has ordained 28 Ministerial Probationers at separate services held at New Jerusalem Congregation at New Weija in the Ga West Presbyter, Emmanuel Congregation at Aburi in the Akuapem Presbytery and Salem Congregation in Tarkoradi in the Western Presbytery.
All the 28 Ministerial Probationers have served their two-year probation at their various Presbyteries since they their commissioning in 2019.
At the New Jerusalem Congregation and Salem Congregation the ordination services were officiated by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, the Right Reverend Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, with Very Rev Prof. Emmanuel Martey, former Moderator officiated the service at the Emmanuel Congregation, Aburi.
Rt. Rev Prof. Mante urged the newly ordained ministers to pray always and seek the face of God. He also urged them to do all they could to nurture the congregants to know Christ and serve him better
The ministers who were ordained at New Weija were Revds. Gifty Aboagye, Anthony Anoom, Samuel Mensah Zongor, Felix Tettekpoe, Vincent Diawuo
Jeffrey Mingle, Joseph C. Kwaatei Quartey, Samuel Asante Agyakwa, Wilson Awere Gyebi Stephen Nii Armah Ayitey, Abraham Ofosu Ofori and Jonas Tetteh Djangmah
Those ordained at Aburi included Reverends Yaw Kissiedu Antiri, Felix Tetteh Ayertey, Samuel Ofori Asare, Joyce Tetey Asiama-Kumi, Millicent Ofosua Oppong, Patricia Appiah Agyakwa, Emmanuel Owusu-Mensah, Sophia Ayeaku and Matthias A. Tswasam.
In Tarkoradi the following ministers were ordained; Reverends Rosaline O. Acheampong, Benjamin Cash Landzo, Martin Yaw Kyeremeh, Kingsley Oppong Ohemeng, William Acquah, Anthony A. Agbenyefia and Eugene Duodu.
