Moderator Dedicates Three Projects at West Akyem Presbytery
The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Right Reverend Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, has dedicated three projects at West Akyem Presbytery during his Pastoral working visit to the area recently.
The Moderator embarked on a week-long pastoral working visit to the West Akyem Presbytery to acquaint himself with the mission work in the Presbytery from Wednesday 21st to Monday 26th April 2021.
The projects were Presbytery Salem Water at Akyem Oda and two Manse at Akyem Aduasa and Akyem Manso.
The Salem Water Project, which is being spearheaded by the Department of Development and Social Services of the Church, is expected to generate additional income for the Presbytery to fund mission work in the area.
The project is in line with the church’s resolve to incorporate business into its activities, while delivering on its traditional mandate of propagating the gospel of Christ.
The dedication ceremonies, which attracted people from all walks of life, coincided with the 25th Anniversary celebration.
The Moderator, in a speech at the dedication ceremonies, commended Ministers within the Presbytery for working hard to ensure rapid church growth.
