Ramseyer Cooperative Credit Union to dedicate new office complex
Ramseyer Cooperative Credit Union (RCCU) Ltd in Kumasi will be dedicating its ultra- modern new office on Thursday 17th June, 2021 at 9 am.
The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, (PCG)Right Reverend Prof. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante will perform the dedication of the new office complex. He will be assisted by the Asante Presbytery Chairperson of the (PCG), Rev Benson Osafo Kantanka and the Board of Directors.
The new office complex which is a six storey building with sections of offices for all officials and other activities including conference rooms for meetings was started in 2015.
Ramseyer Co-operative Credit Union was formed by a team of elders led by Mr. Prince Abraham Appiah-Fei in 1993 with sixteen (16) core members. The credit union faced problems shortly after formation leading to a lull in operations and was reorganized in 1999. Since then, the Union has operated successfully till date. Currently, Ramseyer Credit Union has a clientele base of over 23,000.
The Credit Union uses Susu members as the breeding ground to attract more members.
Ramseyer credit Union’s vision is “To be a leader in the credit union industry poised to meet family and business needs”.
The Union was established to “Promote the socio economic well-being of its members and the business community at large by offering attractive savings, investments and loan products”.
RCCU has two (2) additional branches located at Ejisu and Sokoban. RCCU operates savings products, loans, investment, international money transfers and mobile money transfers.
