Moderator of General Assembly of PCG begins 10 day working visit to Brong Ahafo Presbytery
The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Prof. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, has begun a 10-day working visit to the Brong Ahafo Presbytery from Friday 18th to Monday 28th June 2021.
The purpose of the visit is to acquaint himself with the life of the Church in the face of COVID-19 pandemic.
The Moderator will visit all the 31 Pastoral Districts within the Presbytery and will meet the Council, Agents of the Church, group leaders and Ministers spouses which forms part of his visit.
This morning the Moderator met with all Agents and Council members within the Sunyani and Odomase Districts. The Moderator had a cordial interaction with the people.
The Moderator later joined church members of Fiapre District and Nsuatre District for a church service at the Hope Congregation at Fiapre.
Addressing the people the moderator expressed his appreciation to agents of the Church in the Presbytery for keeping the Church united and intact in the face of COVID-19.
He said the outbreak of COVID-19 had created lots of challenges for the Church therefore some activities which were planned to be executed during the year would delay but will not be derailed.
The Moderator will climax his visit with a church Service at Mabang on Sunday 27th June 2021.
