Moderator dedicates manse for Akrofuom Congregation

Thw Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt Rev Prof Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante has dedicated a new manse for the Shalom Congregation of the Church at the Akrofuom near Obuasi in the Asante South Presbytery on Sunday 27th March 2022.

The well furnished with modern equipments edifice which consists of four bedrooms and auxiliary facilities, was financed by Mr Ofori Boadu a businessman and a member of the church and his family.

Dedicating the building, the Moderator said the gesture by Mr Ofori Boadu and his family to build a befitting place to house the minister and his family was a testimony of his love for Christianity and the Church. “In this country, many people use their money to do many things but this man and his family have opted to use their money to provide accommodation for Reverend Ministers to live,” he said.

The Moderator  was assisted by the Asante South  Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Seth Tetteh Odonkor, Rev Gyasi Acheampong the Presbytery Clerk, Mr. Wiland Etuh the Presbytery Lay Representative on the General Assembly Council, Rev George Larbi Public Relations Officer of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and a host of other ministers of the Church.
