Rev. Dr. Seth Kissi has been inducted into office as the 13th Chairperson of the Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) in an impressive ceremony at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Ebenezer Congregation at Kyebi on Sunday.

In his address, Rev. Dr. Kissi said he accepted the onerous duty as the Chairperson of the Presbytery in all humility and was thankful to God and to all his predecessors.

The New Chairperson said he would be counting on the support and cooperation of all constituents of the Presbytery in order to deliver as expected of him.

Rev. Dr. Kissi noted that there are many Congregations and some Districts in the Presbytery which are faced with many daunting challenges, adding that the Presbytery, under his leadership, would strive to empower all such entities to be self-sustaining and thus speed up the forward march of the Church.

He said he would work hard to strengthen the local congregations and the districts to be able to discharge their functions effectively. He will also operate an open-door policy to welcome all views.
