Presbyterian Church of Ghana ordains 41 ministers
The Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has ordained 41 ministerial probationers at separate services held at Emmanuel Congregation at Dansoman in the Ga West Presbytery and Ebenezer Congregation in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Presbytery, with a challenge to fulfil their ministry in humility.
The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, the Right Reverend Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, who officiated at the ordination services, asked the new ministers to selflessly contribute their quota to make the various congregations in the church dynamic.
“You have the task of bringing all members of your congregation into fellowship and helping to educate them to lead sound moral lives,” he said.
He asked them to pray always and seek the face of God which, according to him, was the only way to have a complete communion with God.
