Presbyterian Church of Ghana supports Upper Presbytery with Ghc175000

The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt Rev Prof Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante has presented a cheque for Ghc150000 to the Upper Presbytery of the Church to support the construction of ultra-modern residence for the Chairperson at Bolgatanga.

Presenting the cheque to the Chairperson the Moderator said it is important that officers working for the Church would be well accommodated so that they can have peace of mind to plan well for the Church.

The Moderator mentioned that the amount presented is as a result of the new financial arrangement. He therefore urged ministers of the Church to ensure proper accountability.

The Chairperson for Upper Presbytery thanked the Moderator for the kind gesture. He said the money would go a long way to help them finish the project on time.

The Moderator later also presented another cheque for Ghc25000 to the Presbytery to support the pavilion projects undertaking by the Presbytery for congregations without places of worship.

The Moderator was accompanied by some directors at the Head Office including Rev Felix Akrasu Anim, Director for Mission and Evangelism, Mr Festus Ohene Kwafo, Director of Administration and Human Resource, Mr Alex De-Draft Hanson, Director of Finance and Rev George Larbi, the Public Relations Officer of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
