Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon, has defended the school’s legacy of discipline in a firm rebuttal to recent comments made by media personality and lawyer, Serwaa Amihere Esq., describing the school as “a breeding ground for homosexuals.”
In a statement dated January 17, 2026, the school’s management vehemently condemned the remarks as bogus, false, reckless, and deeply offensive. PRESEC emphasised that such claims are not only unfounded but also harmful to the reputation of the institution and the dignity of its students and alumni.
The statement reaffirmed PRESEC’s legacy as a centre of academic excellence, moral formation, and disciplined leadership. Founded on the values of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, the school has consistently upheld Christian ethics, integrity, and character development as core pillars of its mission.
“For decades, PRESEC has produced leaders of distinction across Ghana and beyond, grounded in discipline, faith, and service,” the statement read. “We reject any attempt to tarnish the image of this institution with baseless allegations.”
Management further expressed gratitude to stakeholders, parents, alumni, and the wider Presbyterian community for their continued support and trust. The school reiterated its commitment to providing quality education within a framework of spiritual and moral guidance.
