Vision 1.5 Project is achievable-Moderator

The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has said that Vision 1.5 project is achievable if all members of the Church would get involved and make evangelism a priority.

He noted that anytime the church is poised for evangelism, the heavens open, where signs and wonders abound.

The Moderator has therefore encouraged Agents and all members of the Church not to relent of their efforts to preach the Gospel to all creation as commanded by Jesus Christ.

Rt. Rev Prof Mante made the statement during a meeting with Agents of the Church and their spouses at Emmanuel Congregation at Akyem Oda during his recent visit to the West Akyem Presbytery.

The purpose of the visit was to acquaint himself with the life of the Church in the face of COVID-19 pandemic.

The tour took the Moderator to Pastoral Districts such as Oda North, Swedru, Assin Akropong, Wenchi, Akokoaso, Ayirebi, Asuboa South and Oda.

The Moderator said Vision 1.5 Project is meant to reignite the zeal of the members towards personal evangelism in order to win many perishing souls for the kingdom of God.

Moderator expressed his appreciation to Agents of the Church in the Presbytery for keeping the Church united and intact in the face of COVID-19.

He said the outbreak of COVID-19 had created lots of challenges for the Church therefore some activities which were planned to be executed during the year would delay but would not be derailed.
