The Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has presented a Nissan Pick-up vehicle to the Central Regional Manager of Schools of the Church at a short ceremony at the ongoing General Assembly at Abetifi Kwahu in the Eastern Region on Thursday 11th August 2022.

The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Right Rev Professor Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante assisted by the Clerk of the General Assembly of the Church, Rev Dr. Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor and some Commissioners and Corresponding members at the ongoing General Assembly presented the vehicle to the Regional Manager.

Making the presentation, the Moderator said the Church had taken a decision to provide vehicles for all Regional Managers of schools of the Church to facilitate their movement and it was against this background that last year three of such vehicles were presented to the Eastern, Western/Western North and Volta/Oti Regional Managers of schools.

Rt Rev Prof. Mante said the provision of the vehicles would go a long way to help monitoring and supervision of schools by the managers.

He added that there are nine Regional Managers of Schools of the Church and assured that other Regional Managers would also be provided with vehicles.

The Moderator assured that the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has a commitment to continue to live up to its mandate as a true Bible-believing and practicing church and that it would continue to abide by the vision of spreading the Word of God to the ends of the earth.

He urged the beneficiary to adopt the culture of excellence to maintain the vehicle to ensure their longer life span.

Mrs.  Central Regional manager of Presbyterian Schools thanked the Moderator and the entire Church for the presentation.

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana currently has over 2,400 basic schools, about 35 Senior High Schools, 5 Colleges of Education, two Universities and five Training Centers.
