INVITATION FOR APPLICATIONS – ECUMENICAL YOUTH VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME IN GERMAN
May the peace of God which passes human understanding be with you
By the grace of God, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCC not received notification of an opportunity for qualifying youth of the PCG to participate in the Ecumenical Youth Volunteer Programme (EYVP) of the Evangelical Mission in Solidarity (EMS) in Germany. I am by this letter inviting applications from qualified youth in your presbytery for the above-named Youth Volunteer Programme
Successful candidates will serve in one of the social support or educational institutions designed by the host churches from March 2024-February 2005. This fully-funded programme is a part of the South-North intercultural exchange which offers opportunities for young persons interested in promoting cl society engagement, to be part of an exciting journey to offer the services from March 2024-February 2025 in Germany
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Presbyterian youth of good repute between the ages of 18 and 28 years Must be an active member of his/her local congregation
- Must have a good educational background (minimum of 1st Degree)
- Must be willing to serve the entire period of the programme (one-year) and return to Chana afterward
- Must have very good English language skills and must be willing to learn and pass the German (A1) language test
- Must be willing to learn about other cultures, have the capability to adjust to different ways of life, and work with people from diverse worldviews.
Duly completed application forms, a motivational letter, an endorsement letter from your local Minister, a Cumculum vitae (CV), and a bio page of your passport should be sent to the following email addresses only by Tuesday, August 1, 2023: pcgesrdirector@gmail.com and aojawo@yahoo.co.uk with the applicant’s name and EYVP 2023 as the subject.
