 National NUPSG Executive Calls on the Moderator

The Executive of the National Union of Presbyterian Students of Ghana and Ga Presbytery Campus Ministry Coordinator, Rev. Joseph Asan Ntow have paid a visit to the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye.

The delegation led by the National Director for Church Life and Nurture, Rev. Joshua Bossman Ohene, briefed the Moderator of GA on some of their activities and vision projects.

The Moderator challenged them to see themselves as an integral part of all the programmes and the future of the Church. He impressed on them to include the “Agenda 2 Million” project in all their activities. He further urged them not to only focus on evangelistic activities outside their campuses but to see the campuses as “ripe fields for the harvest”.

Moderator Opare Kwakye further advised them that following activities of the Bi-Centennial anniversary celebrations, it is important that the leadership compile a comprehensive history of the NUPS-G for future reference.

He also requested them to start the process of bringing together guidelines for the operation of NUPS-G on campuses of tertiary institutions outside Ghana.

The National Leadership of the NUPS-G is now at the University of Ghana, Legon rotating from the University of Cape Coast.
