The Akuapem Presbytery has made a remarkable impact in its evangelistic outreach, successfully founding six new congregations across the Eastern Region.
This was achieved during a vibrant campaign hosted by the Presbytery in collaboration with 36 delegates from the Presbyterian Students in Church Evangelism (PSICE) of Akropong College of Education.
The week-long mission, which took place in Nsawam, Djankrom, Adeiso, Asuboi, and Coaltar, saw the Presbytery’s mission team and PSICE delegates working hand in hand to proclaim the gospel and establish new worshipping communities.
Through house-to-house evangelism, street preaching, and community engagement, the team reached hundreds of residents with the message of Christ.
The campaign culminated in the planting of six new congregations, a testament to the effectiveness of youth-led evangelism and the Presbytery’s commitment to church growth.
Leaders within the Presbytery praised the collaborative spirit and dedication of the mission team, noting that the initiative aligns with the broader vision of expanding the church’s presence and nurturing new believers.
