The District Minister for Latebiokorshie and Minister in Charge of the Very Rev. Max Doudo Congregation, Rev. Samuel Adom Adjah, has been adjudged 1st Runner-Up Best Farmer for the Ablekuma Central Municipality at the 41st National Farmers’ Day celebrations.
Rev. Adjah, who combines pastoral ministry with practical farming, was recognised for his outstanding work in livestock and crop production. His ventures include grasscutter, rabbit, goat, and poultry rearing, alongside the cultivation of cassava, maize, cabbage, lettuce, and carrots.
The honour reflects the growing involvement of PCG ministers in livelihood initiatives that go beyond the pulpit, supporting community development and economic empowerment. Rev. Adjah’s recognition underscores the Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s continued contribution to national growth through innovative and sustainable farming practices.
