The Course Representative of the 2025 graduating class of the Ramseyer Training Centre (RTC), Abetifi, Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Teye Amanor-Lartey, has expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of his colleagues at the centre’s third graduation ceremony for the Licentiate in Ministry programme.
In his remarks, Rev. Dr. Amanor-Lartey reflected on the journey of the class, acknowledging both the challenges and joys of their ministerial training. He noted that while many struggled with aspects of their studies, including biblical languages, the grace of God and the dedication of faculty sustained them throughout.
“We are fully aware that we did not work our way here. God brought us, and He has sustained us through this training,” he said. He recalled memorable moments of fellowship, from classroom debates and communion practice to times of sorrow when classmates faced bereavement, and seasons of joy marked by weddings and the birth of “RTC babies.”
These experiences, he stated, had strengthened their bonds and prepared them for the realities of ministry. Rev. Dr. Amanor-Lartey expressed deep appreciation to the faculty for their sacrifices, mentorship, and practical guidance, particularly in areas such as marriage and family life.
He praised the lecturers for “emptying themselves into us,” equipping the class with knowledge, skills, and competence for effective ministry. Concluding his remarks, he assured the RTC community that the graduating class would remain connected to their alma mater: “Our relationship with RTC has just begun. This is our home, and we shall return for retreats. We are confident.”
