It was a moment of personal joy for Rev. Stephen Berko as he received the prestigious Director’s Award, which is the Overall Best Trainee Award at the Ramseyer Training Centre, Abetifi during the third graduation ceremony of the Licentiate in Ministry Programme.
The award was in recognition of Rev. Stephen Berko’s exemplary life in ministry competencies, excellent leadership, outstanding Christian character, and dedicated service to fellow trainees and the RTC community.
The graduation ceremony, held at RTC’s campus, marked the completion of the institution’s third cohort of trainees in the Licentiate in Ministry Programme. The Director’s Award is considered the highest honor of the event, reserved for the trainee who demonstrates holistic excellence in both academic and spiritual formation.
Rev. Stephen Berko, who is presently with PCG, Hope Congregation, Sakumono in the Ga Presbytery, was described by colleagues and faculty as a role model whose commitment to ministry and service stood out throughout the programme.
His leadership extended beyond the classroom, as he actively supported fellow trainees and contributed to the wider RTC community. The RTC Licentiate in Ministry Programme is designed to equip individuals with practical ministry skills, theological knowledge, and character formation for effective Christian service.
