The Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s fast‑growing digital engagement programme, PCG Connect, is heading to Abetifi–Kwahu for its first off‑site edition since the initiative began in March this year. The session takes place on Tuesday, 21st July 2026, marking a significant step in bringing national‑level conversations closer to presbyteries, congregations, and training centres.
This edition places the Department of Church Life and Nurture (CLAN) in the spotlight, led by its Director, Rev. Andrew Shardow. CLAN becomes the latest directorate to feature on PCG Connect, following previous sessions hosted by Development and Social Services, Mission and Evangelism, Education, Administration, and Human Resource Management.
The programme will be held on the first floor of the Emmanuel Martey Block at the Ramseyer Training Centre (RTC), Abetifi. It is expected to attract a wide range of church members eager to engage CLAN on issues of discipleship, nurture, spirituality, and the life of the church.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Convener of the PCG Connect Planning Committee, Mrs. Teiko Sabah, said the move signals a renewed commitment to accessibility and decentralisation. She explained that taking PCG Connect beyond the General Assembly Office for the first time demonstrates the church’s desire for direct engagement with its grassroots.
As previously done, the Abetifi edition is expected to be interactive, informative, and spiritually enriching—bringing the CLAN Directorate face‑to‑face with the people it serves.
