The Akyem Asante Presbytery Children’s Service Teachers Fellowship Conference has ended at Christ Congregation, Juansa, in the Juansa District, marking a significant moment in the spiritual growth and development of children’s service teachers across the Presbytery.
Held from 20th – 22nd March 2026, the conference brought together 80 participants from all 12 districts of the Presbytery. The event was graced by notable personalities, including Acting Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Mavis Hannah Yeboah; Juansa District Minister and Presbytery CLAN Director, Rev. Michael Badu.
Rev. Yeboah delivered a powerful sermon on the theme “The Voice that Gives Life,” inspiring participants to become vessels of God’s life‑giving voice in their communities. The conference featured a variety of enriching sessions, including teachings on communion, child baptism, song learning, and district report presentations.
These sessions created space for experience‑sharing, idea exchange, and deeper reflection on the responsibilities of children’s service teachers. Rev. Yeboah emphasized the crucial role children’s service teachers play in shaping future leaders, urging them to remain faithful, diligent, and spiritually grounded.
Her message served as a timely reminder of the importance of nurturing children in the ways of the Lord. The conference concluded on a high note, with participants leaving refreshed, empowered, and better equipped to serve in their respective districts. The Presbytery anticipates renewed spiritual growth among its children, driven by the dedication and commitment of these teachers.
