PCG consoles Agogoman
The Acting Chairperson of the Asante Akyem Presbytery, Rev. Mavis Hannah Yeboah, on behalf of the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) on Wednesday, 1st April 2026, led a delegation to the Agogo Traditional Council to offer condolences on the passing of the Paramount Chief of the Asante Akyem Agogo Traditional Area, Nana Kwame Akuoko Sarpong.
The Paramount Chief, who passed away last week at age 88, was a respected traditional ruler, lawyer, and politician. The PCG delegation presented packs of water to the Council as a gesture of sympathy, acknowledging the late chief’s remarkable legacy. The presentation underscored the PCG’s solidarity with the Traditional Authority and its respect for Nana’s commitment to stability, development, and traditional governance.
