The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, has called on the cadet corps of the Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (Presec-Legon) to ensure that their inner lives reflect the discipline and neatness they display outwardly.
“Our inside must be as clean as our outside, to be Christian gentlemen,” he said. “Ensure that your hearts are also turned to the Lord, to serve with your head and heart.” The Moderator reminded the cadet that true leadership is anchored in integrity and faith.
The Moderator said this prior to joining the 87th Speech and Prize Giving Day celebration. He inspected the cadet corps, commending them for their smart appearance and discipline.
He urged them to match their outward presentation with inward devotion, stressing that the combination of discipline and academic excellence is what shapes future leaders.
Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye’s message resonated with the broader theme of the celebration, which highlighted the importance of heritage, discipline, and excellence in nurturing Christian young men to serve the country.
