At the third graduation ceremony of the Licentiate in Ministry programme at the Ramseyer Training Centre (RTC), Abetifi, the Board Chairperson, Nana Obenewaah Attah Ofori has tasked the 2025 graduating class to embrace their calling with devotion and integrity.
She reminded them that their ministerial training was not merely academic but a sacred preparation for service. “The choice is yours—excel with devotion for the glory of God and the enduring pride of this great institution,” she stated.
Nana Obenewaah shared the profound responsibility that rests upon the vitality of ministers in sustaining the spiritual, physical, and material mission of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. “The spiritual, physical, and material help of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana rests upon the vitality of its ministers, which intent flows from the sacred formation you have received,” she said.
She noted that the excellence of ministerial formation is entrusted to the vision, discernment, and faithful stewardship of the RTC board, management, and faculty. Stressing the weight of accountability, she pledged the board’s continued commitment to nurturing future leaders: “We bear immense accountability before God, the Church, and you. We pledge to nurture, but the choice is yours.”
The ceremony was marked by thanksgiving, as graduates and faculty celebrated the completion of a rigorous programme designed to prepare ministers for effective service in congregations worldwide. The event reaffirmed RTC’s role as a vital training ground for the PCG, continuing its mission of shaping minister for the church.
