The Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s National Ministers’ Conference (NMC) ended its 2026 gathering at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, with the election of new executives to steer the affairs of the Conference.
The elections, held as part of the week-long programme, brought together ministers from across the world for renewal, fellowship, and leadership formation. Delegates, among other things, voted to entrust key responsibilities to three experienced leaders whose service reflects both continuity and fresh vision for the Conference.
Rev. Daniel Brobbey, Chairperson of the Asante South Presbytery, was elected General Secretary of the NMC. Known for his administrative diligence and pastoral commitment, Rev. Brobbey’s election was met with warm applause, as colleagues expressed confidence in his ability to strengthen the NMC’s structures and deepen ministerial welfare.
Rev. Kwame Fosu Boamah of the Brong Ahafo Presbytery was elected Treasurer. His financial stewardship and dedication to transparency come in as qualities that will ensure effective management of the NMC’s resources. Delegates congratulated him on his new role, stating the importance of sound financial leadership in sustaining the NMC’s mission.
Rev. Alexander Kwadwo Nyantakyi was elected Assistant General Secretary, bringing more energy and organisational skill to the executive team. His election was celebrated as a sign of the NMC’s commitment to nurturing emerging leaders and seasoned ministers.
The elections marked a significant moment in the life of the NMC, reinforcing the Presbyterian tradition of shared leadership, governance and accountability. As the new executives assume office, ministers expressed hope that their collective vision will strengthen discipleship, pastoral care, and the evangelistic mission of the PCG.
