The West Akyem Presbytery has taken a practical step to strengthen its Children’s Ministry and mission outreach with the presentation of a new motorbike. The Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Raymond Baah Abekah, together with the Presbytery Clerk, Rev. Samuel Yaw Agyei, officially handed over the motorbike to the leadership of the Presbytery Children’s Service Teachers’ Fellowship.
Receiving the gift were the Fellowship President, Mr. Isaac Botwe, and the Children’s Service Coordinator, Rev. Alexander Kumi-Nyeduala. The presentation, held in a spirit of thanksgiving, was described as a timely intervention to support the mobility needs of the Children’s Service Coordinator, who oversees ministry activities across the Presbytery.
With congregations and mission stations spread across wide geographical areas, the motorbike is expected to enhance supervision, improve communication, and ensure effective coordination of children’s programmes.
Rev. Abekah noted that the gift reflects the Presbytery’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of Christians and ensuring that children’s ministry remains vibrant and impactful. The coordinator expressed gratitude on behalf of the Fellowship, pledging to use the motorbike responsibly to expand the reach of the gospel among children and strengthen mission work in the Presbytery.
