The Anglican Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province in Nigeria and member of the FECCIWA Advisory Committee, Most Rev. David O. C. Onuoha, has commended the management of the Presbyterian Women’s Centre (PWC), Abokobi, for its outstanding hospitality and maintenance standards.
Speaking to PCG TV at the extraordinary meeting of the Fellowship of Christian Councils and Churches in West Africa (FECCIWA) in Accra, he praised the centre as a model facility in the sub-region. “The well-manicured lawn, the decency of the rooms, and the diligence of the kitchen staff deserve commendation. The compound is very neat,” he said.
Most Rev. Onuoha noted that in his travels across West Africa, many hospitality facilities suffer from poor maintenance, but the Presbyterian Women’s Centre (PWC), Abokobi stands out for its efficiency and care. “We are deeply grateful to the management of this facility,” he added, commending both the neatness of the compound and the professionalism of its managers.
In his address on the floor of the conference, Most Rev. Onuoha reflected on FECCIWA’s past challenges and expressed confidence in its renewal. “We have come to rebuild the future,” he said, stressing that this time the fellowship will stand firm. He likened the gathering in Ghana to building with gold, symbolising strength and lasting value.
He extended gratitude to the Christian Council of Ghana and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana for hosting the meeting, adding warmly, “The PCG is wonderful.”
