Ga Presbytery presents motorbikes to support rural mission
The Ga Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has presented 10 motorbikes to the General Assembly Office to support rural ministry of the Church.
The presentation took place at the Ramseyer Congregation, Taifa at the closing ceremony of the 10-day Pastoral visit of the Moderator of the General Assembly Rt. Rev Prof. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante on Monday 27th June 2022.
Presenting the motorbikes to the Moderator by the Ga Presbytery Chairperson, Rev Dr Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye said the presentation formed part of the centenary celebration of the Presbytery.
He commended the Moderator for the visit and said, it would go a long way to strengthen the Congregations and agents to work towards achieving the Vision 1.5 agenda.
The Moderator visited all the 28 Pastoral Districts within the Ga Presbytery and one Mission Field where District Ministers presented situational reports and gave account of their stewardship.
The purpose of the visit was to acquaint himself with the progress of mission work in the Presbytery especially how the outbreak of the COVID-19 has affected the church.
