Virtual Security Africa Donates to PCG

The CEO of Virtual Security Africa Ltd., Mr. Emmanuel Asiedu Sekyere paid a courtesy call to the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye at Church House with his staff at VSA.

VSA is a system integrator of complete security solutions. They received the Gold Category award of the International Star of Leadership in Quality (ISLQ) during the 2023 Business Initiative Direction (BID) and BID Group One Award.

Receiving the guests, the Moderator of GA outlined some of the activities of PCG, touching on education, health, social services, ecumenism, and others. The Moderator mentioned that, as a Church, PCG focus on soul-winning for Christ has not been compromised, PCG also offers other humanitarian services for the society beyond the Presbyterian Church membership.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye touched on youth in the entrepreneurship development programme of the Church. He explained how the PCG has been resourcing the youth, with knowledge, skills, and funding to establish themselves. 

The Moderator of GA touched on the plans and focus of the Church to establish a retreat center at Kuntunse. He mentioned that the project would not just benefit the Church through conferences and training programmes, but would be a source of employment for the youth and generate income for the Church.

Mr. Asiedu Sekyere, on behalf of VSA congratulated the Moderator on his election and induction as the 19th Moderator of PCG. He indicated that he is a Presbyterian and a proud member of Adabraka Official Town District of PCG. The purpose of the visit was to greet the Head Office of PCG and wish the Moderator well in his new office.

Mr. Asiedu Sekyere pledged support to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, especially in the humanitarian services. He promised to build a furnished Cyber Security Lab at Presbyterian University Ghana where the Moderator is the chancellor. This, he explained will go a long way to support the many youth development programmes of PUG.

In addition to that, VSA led by the CEO, Mr. Asiedu Sekyere donated a cheque of GHc 100,000.00 to PCG to support the humanitarian services that the Church provides. The cheque was received by the Moderator and the Ag. Clerk of GA, Rev. Andrew Odjawo.

The Moderator on behalf of the entire PCG expressed his heartfelt gratitude to VSA for their kind gesture. He prayed for the entire VSA foundation and its staff for God’s continuous blessings.
