Garrison Methodist-Presby donates chairs, cash

The Garrison Methodist-Presby Church of the Ghana Army has donated 70 chairs and cash to the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG). The presentation took place at the General Assembly Office, Church House, Accra.

Receiving the donation, the Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Garrison Methodist-Presby Church. He described the gesture as useful and offered prayers for God’s continued blessings upon the church.

The brief but significant ceremony was attended by key PCG leaders including the Clerk of General Assembly, Rev. Dr. Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor; Director of Ecumenical and Social Relations, Rev. Andrew Odjawo; Director of Mission and Evangelism, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Kwabklah Sarbah; Director of Administration and Human Resource Management, Rev. George Obeng Agyei; and Ga Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Col. David Adoteye-Asare.

Representing the Garrison Methodist-Presby Church were Very Rev. Cmdr. David Bennet Quayeson, Rev. Lt. Irene Esi Coomson, Rev. Squ. Ld. Asiedu Richard, and Rev. Kwasi Addo.

The donation underscores the strong bond between the military church and the PCG, and their shared commitment to supporting the work of God.
