National Evangelism and Church Growth Consultation underway
The 2025 National Evangelism and Church Growth Consultation is underway at the Ramseyer Training Centre, Abetifi. The five-day programme, running from Monday, 17th to Friday, 21st November 2025, brings together leaders, presbytery representatives, and partners to reflect on the Church’s mission mandate and chart a unified path for evangelism and growth.
Explaining the objectives of the consultation, the Director of Mission and Evangelism, Rev. Dr. E.K. Sarbah, said the gathering was designed to strengthen the Church’s evangelistic vision and equip leaders with strategies for effective discipleship.
“The main goals are to share a common evangelistic task, communicate evangelistic visions, explore new initiatives and methodologies, and reflect on our mission mandate from different experiences and perspectives,” he noted.
The consultation seeks to develop a unified strategy to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide while promoting sustainable church growth. Rev. Dr. Sarbah stressed that evangelism must not be seen merely as a programme but as a lifestyle and spiritual calling.
He encouraged participants to embrace innovative approaches that respond to contemporary challenges while remaining rooted in biblical truth. The Mission and Evangelism Department expressed gratitude for God’s grace and the commitment of Presbyteries, leaders, and partners in advancing the cause of the gospel.
The consultation also reaffirms the PCG’s dedication to Agenda 2Million, the Church’s strategic initiative to expand membership and deepen discipleship nationwide and abroad.
“As we press on toward Agenda 2Million, we remain steadfast in our calling to make Christ known through word, deed, and discipleship,” Rev. Dr. Sarbah said. The consultation is expected to conclude with actionable recommendations that will guide evangelism and church growth efforts across the PCG.
