The Clerk of General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor has acknowledged the presence of God throughout the life of the church saying that, the Lord has been writing the PCG’s story and that members of the church must stay faithful in their service.
“God is writing the story, and we must remain committed,” the Clerk told congregants when he spoke at the 2nd Bicentennial Exhibition at the Eben-Ezer Congregation, Osu. He said the exhibition was designed to recount the PCG’s journey and inspire members to do more for God, reminding them that understanding the past is key to shaping the future.
He reminded congregants of the importance of reflecting on the past as a guide for the future. “We will know where we are if we know where we started from,” he said, urging members to draw strength from the church’s heritage as they look ahead to the bicentennial celebrations in 2028.
The exhibition, which highlights the history, milestones, and contributions of the PCG, forms part of activities leading to the bicentennial anniversary. It highlights the PCG’s role in evangelism, education, healthcare, and national development, while encouraging members to recommit to their service.
