God’s purpose unfolds in his time – Moderator
The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye has reminded Christians of the importance of recognising God’s times and seasons, as he encouraged Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong and his campaign team during their thanksgiving visit to the Church’s Head Office in Accra.
Drawing from Scripture, the Moderator shared the story of David, stressing that when leadership is God-ordained, He makes everything beautiful in His own time. He underscored that divine purpose unfolds according to God’s perfect will, urging all present to trust in God’s timing.
The Moderator commended Dr. Acheampong for being a worthy ambassador of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana throughout his campaign. He noted with appreciation that Acheampong proudly wore the PCG Bicentennial cloth during some of his campaign tours, describing the gesture as a visible expression of faith, identity, and commitment to the values of the Church.
Welcoming the team, the Moderator expressed gratitude to God for His protection and guidance throughout the campaign period. He acknowledged the challenges of traveling across the country, particularly given the state of the nation’s road network, but emphasized that all glory must be given to God, who preserved Acheampong and his team.
He further congratulated the entire team and commended the peaceful conduct of the elections, describing it as a national achievement that should serve as a benchmark for Ghana’s democratic process.
In his closing remarks, the Moderator prayed for God’s continued blessings, wisdom, and guidance upon Dr. Bryan Acheampong and his team, committing them into God’s hands as they enter the next phase of leadership and service.
