After the naming ceremony of newly dedicated school infrastructure at Presbyterian Senior High Technical School (PSHTS), Aburi, the Headmistress, Mrs. Joyce Appiah, led the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye and other ministers to inspect the progress of the construction of the headmistress’ bungalow quite close to the school compound.
The inspection revealed steady progress on the project, though much work remains to be done. Standing before the partially completed structure, the Moderator assured the school community that the bungalow would be completed before Mrs. Appiah’s tenure ends.
“This building will not remain unfinished. With the support of the church, partners, and friends, we will ensure that the headmistress’ bungalow is completed before she leaves office,” the Moderator pledged. His words were met with applause and renewed hope among staff and students, who see the project as a symbol of the church’s commitment to supporting its institutions.
The Moderator commended Mrs. Appiah for her resilience and leadership in steering PSHTS-Aburi through significant development projects despite challenges. He stated that the completion of the bungalow would serve as a lasting legacy of her stewardship and a testament to the Presbyterian tradition of combining faith with practical action.
The inspection underscored the church’s ongoing dedication to strengthening its schools, not only through academic excellence but also by providing the infrastructure needed to sustain growth and stability.
