5th CLAN Moderatorial Forum in Abetifi
The 5th CLAN Moderatorial Forum organised by the Department of Church Life and Nurture (CLAN) is underway at the Ramseyer Training Centre, Abetifi–Kwahu as participants arrived on Thursday from various presbyteries for the event, from February 19 to 21, 2026.
The forum, themed “Celebrating Our Heritage; Building on the Foundation Already Laid” (1 Corinthians 3:11), will bring together key leaders of the Church, including the Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, the Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev. David Aboagye-Danquah, and the National Director of Church Life and Nurture, Rev. Andrew Shardow.
The keynote speaker will be the Director of the Ramseyer Training Centre, Rev. Gideon Beuenor Puplampu. The Moderatorial Forum is designed to deepen reflection on the church’s heritage, strengthen unity, and chart new directions for growth.
By revisiting the foundations already laid, the gathering seeks to inspire church to build on the rich legacy of faith, discipline, and service that has characterised the PCG for generations.
The forum will enhance church growth by equipping leaders with practical strategies for nurturing congregational life, promoting discipleship, and advancing the mission of the church in contemporary society. It also provides a platform for dialogue on how the PCG can respond to modern challenges while remaining rooted in biblical principles.
