Asante South Presbytery equips media unit
In a significant move to modernise communication, streamline digital reporting, and improve operational capabilities, the Public Relations and Media Unit of the Asante South Presbytery has been equipped with a brand-new laptop.
The Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Daniel Brobbey, officially presented the equipment to the Unit at the Presbytery Office. The laptop was received by the Presbytery PRO, Mr. Richard Ankomah. The presentation forms part of the Presbytery’s strategic effort to provide the necessary tools for effective “Media Evangelism” and timely information dissemination.
With the Presbytery’s growing digital presence on platforms such as PCG TV and social media, the new equipment is expected to boost the Unit’s capacity for high-quality video editing, graphic design, and live event coverage.
Speaking during the brief presentation, Rev. Brobbey emphasized that the work of the PR and Media Unit is central to the PCG’s Strategic Plan. He explained that for the Presbytery to effectively reach “the child in today’s world” and implement “Agenda 2 Million,” it must be vocal and visible in the digital space. “This tool is to help the Unit capture and share the move of God in this Presbytery with more speed and excellence,” he stated.
Receiving the device, Mr. Ankomah expressed gratitude to the Chairperson and the Presbytery leadership for their continuous support. He assured that the laptop would be put to immediate use to enhance the Unit’s operations, ensuring that the activities of the Asante South Presbytery are documented and shared with the highest professional standards.
