The National Union of Presbyterian Students–Ghana (NUPS-G) from the Agogo Campus of the Presbyterian University, Ghana (PUG) has left a lasting mark on the Juaso District through a three-day Presbyterian Students in Church Evangelism (P-SICE) program.
The initiative, held from February 20 to 22, 2026, demonstrated the powerful role of youth-led evangelism combined with practical acts of service. The students took the lead in spreading the Gospel, engaging with local communities, and participating actively in church activities.
Their mission went beyond spiritual outreach, as they organized free medical screenings for residents, checking vital signs such as blood pressure and sugar levels, while offering valuable health advice. In addition, they extended compassion through the donation of essential items, including clothing, to those in need.
The programme highlighted the holistic vision of NUPS-G: to proclaim Christ not only in words but also through deeds that reflect His love. By blending evangelism with community service, the students embodied the church’s mission of caring for both the spiritual and physical well-being of people.
Local leaders and congregants expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that the students’ efforts had brought renewal, encouragement, and practical support to the district. The Juaso community witnessed firsthand the energy and commitment of young Presbyterians who are determined to make evangelism relevant and impactful in today’s society.
