The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, has been warmly received in Agona Nsaba as his pastoral tour of the Central Presbytery reached its final stop before the climax in Winneba.

A colourful Brigade Parade heralded his arrival, with members of the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade from Ebenezer Congregation, Agona Nsaba, marching through the precincts of the church to the Presbyterian School Park to welcome the Moderator and his entourage.

Enthusiastic congregants, ministers, and local leaders gathered at the Nsaba Presbyterian Church to celebrate the occasion, reflecting the deep sense of unity and anticipation that has characterised the entire tour.

The Moderator’s Central Presbytery tour has already taken him through several zones, including Kasoa (Kasoa, Nyanyano, Kasoa North, Kasoa South), Swedru (Swedru, Swedru North, Kwanyako, Winneba), and Asikuma (Asikuma, Besease, Brakwa).

Welcoming the Moderator to the Nsaba zone are Rev. John Gideon Offei Okyere, Nsaba District Minister, Rev. Gideon Alex Ampomah, Nyarkrom District Minister and Rev. Samuel Kwame Essah, Akroso District Minister.

At each stop, he has encouraged congregants to remain steadfast in faith, uphold unity, and prepare actively for the church’s bicentennial celebrations in 2028.
