The Northern Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has received a major boost to its operations with the dedication of a new Toyota Landcruiser duty vehicle.

The vehicle was dedicated to God by the Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, at a short ceremony held at the Basel Mission Guest House in Adum, Kumasi.

The Moderator, in his prayer of dedication, said that the vehicle was a logistical resource for advancing the mission of the church. He urged the Presbytery leadership to use it well in the service to God and humanity, ensuring that it supports pastoral care, evangelism, and administrative duties across the vast Northern Presbytery.

Receiving the keys, the Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Simon Kofi Yeboah, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the General Assembly Office for their assistance. He assured the Moderator and the wider church that the vehicle would be put to good use and maintained diligently.

The provision of the Landcruiser reflects the church’s commitment to strengthening its presbyteries with the necessary resources to reach out to congregations, especially in remote areas. For the Northern Presbytery, which covers a wide geographical area, the vehicle is expected to enhance mobility, improve pastoral oversight, and facilitate the delivery of social and spiritual services.
