Rev. Mavis Yeboah crowned outstanding health educator
The Acting Chairperson of the Asante Akyem Presbytery, Rev. Mavis Hannah Yeboah, has been honoured as the Most Outstanding Woman in Faith-Based Healthcare Education at the 3rd edition of the Global She Achiever Conference and Awards, held last week in Kigali, Rwanda.
Organised by The Business Executive Media Group, the prestigious award celebrates women who excel in their professions while advancing cultural, political, and socio-economic conditions worldwide.
Rev. Mavis Yeboah’s recognition is not only a personal triumph but also a testament to the growing influence of women in faith-based leadership and education. As a minister and educator, she has consistently championed the integration of healthcare education with Christian values, ensuring that communities benefit from both professional excellence and spiritual guidance.
Her achievement highlights the vital role women play in shaping the future of healthcare, particularly in contexts where faith and service intersect. In her acceptance, she dedicated the honour to women across Ghana and Africa who continue to serve quietly yet strongly in healthcare, education, and ministry.
She stated that the recognition is a call to action for women to rise, lead, and transform society with integrity and excellence. The Kigali ceremony brought together distinguished women leaders from across the globe, reinforcing the message that women’s contributions are indispensable to cultural renewal, political progress, and socio-economic development.
