The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, has switched into work mode, settling into his official visit to the North America–Australia Presbytery (NAAP), immediately beginning a packed schedule of ministry engagements across several states.

Arriving on Monday, 6th April 2026, the Moderator moved into active duty barely 24 hours later, signalling a hands‑on approach to his pastoral responsibilities. His early activities set the pace for a demanding two‑week mission that includes an Ordination Service on April 8, participation in the 12th Presbytery Session from April 9–12 and leading the Presbytery Sunday Divine Service on April 12.

He will also dedicate a manse in West Orange, followed by scheduled engagements in Chicago and Virginia, before returning to Ghana on 20th April.

The Moderator’s swift transition from arrival to active work underscores his commitment to strengthening PCG’s global fellowship and supporting diaspora congregations with renewed pastoral presence.
