Kom Presby Hospital receives donations from Fafraha YPG
The Young People’s Guild (YPG) of the Victory Congregation, Fafraha, has extended support to the Presbyterian Hospital at Kom, Aburi, through a generous donation of essential items as part of their Youth and Students Week celebration.
The group presented a variety of supplies, including toiletries, blankets, toys, cartons of bottled water, and other useful items intended to support patient care and bring comfort to those receiving treatment at the facility.
The gesture reflects the YPG’s commitment to practical Christian service and its desire to positively impact communities beyond the walls of the church. Leaders of the Guild noted that the donation was inspired by the call to demonstrate Christlike compassion, especially toward the sick and vulnerable.
They stated that Youth and Students Week is not only a time for spiritual renewal but also an opportunity for young people to express their faith through acts of kindness and social responsibility.
Hospital staff expressed appreciation to the Fafraha YPG for the thoughtful gesture, describing the items as timely and beneficial to the daily operations of the facility. They commended the Guild for choosing to support healthcare delivery and encouraged other youth groups to emulate the example.
