Rev. J. J. Kumi Duodu donates Large Format Printer to Presby Press
The Presbyterian Church of Ghana has received a significant boost to its printing and media operations following the donation of a large‑format printer to Presby Press Limited by Rev. J. J. Kumi Duodu, the immediate past Chairperson of the North America/Australia Presbytery.
Presenting the documents covering the equipment at Church House, Osu, Rev. Kumi Duodu said the gesture was his contribution toward strengthening the church’s communication and publication ministry. He expressed the hope that the machine would enhance the efficiency and professional output of Presby Press.
Large‑format printers are essential for producing banners, posters, backdrops, exhibition materials, architectural drawings, maps, signage, branded displays, and high‑resolution visual communication tools. The new machine is expected to significantly expand Presby Press’s production capacity.
Receiving the donation, the Moderator of the General Assembly, Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye, expressed profound appreciation to Rev. Kumi Duodu for what is a strategic intervention. The Managing Director of Presby Press, Mr. Shadrack Sarpong, also expressed gratitude, describing the donation as a massive addition. He assured the church that the equipment would be put to diligent use to improve service delivery.
Three Board members, Ms. Yvonne Ayisi Oppong, Ing. Ludwig Kofi Hesse, and Lawyer Dua‑Ansah, also present at the brief presentation ceremony commended Rev. Kumi Duodu for his generosity and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that Presby Press continues to operate with excellence.
