PUG launches new graduate programmes
The Presbyterian University, Ghana (PUG) has announced the introduction of four new master’s programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Year, beginning in October 2026.
The new programmes form part of the University’s commitment to expanding postgraduate training and strengthening professional capacity in key sectors of national development.
The programmes introduced are MSc Nursing, MPhil Nursing, MA Guidance and Counselling, and MSc Marketing Strategy. According to the School of Graduate Studies, these programmes have been carefully designed to equip graduates with advanced competencies, leadership skills, and research capabilities relevant to Ghana’s evolving workforce needs.
The Nursing programmes aim to support the growing demand for specialised clinical and academic professionals, while the MA in Guidance and Counselling seeks to enhance mental health and psychosocial support services across institutions. The MSc in Marketing Strategy will provide graduates with strategic skills to navigate the increasingly competitive business environment.
