RTC honours Brong Ahafo Presbytery
The Ramseyer Training Centre (RTC), Abetifi, has honoured the Brong Ahafo Presbytery for its longstanding support and exceptional contribution to ministerial formation and leadership development within the church.
As part of the visit, RTC presented a Special Recognition Award to the Presbytery, celebrating it as the “Best Achievers Presbytery” for its consistency in supporting the Centre through financial contributions, prayers, and partnership in training.
A portion of the citation praised the Presbytery for helping the Centre deliver on its mandate and expressed confidence that, as it marks its 60th anniversary, it will continue to radiate the light of Christ.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Presbytery, Rev. Benjamin Appiah, Chairperson of the Presbytery, thanked the Centre for the honour and reaffirmed the Presbytery’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with RTC in advancing the mission of the Church through training, discipleship, and faithful service.
Bringing special felicitations to the 60th Session of the Presbytery, the Director of RTC, Rev. Gideon Buernor Puplampu, expressed deep appreciation for the Presbytery’s unwavering commitment to the growth and mission of the Training Centre. He noted that the Presbytery’s steady partnership, sacrificial support, and consistent engagement have significantly advanced the Centre’s mandate of equipping Christian leaders for effective ministry.
Rev. Puplampu explained that the visit was not only an official representation of the Centre but also the fulfilment of a personal promise to the Presbytery Chairperson—his seminary mate and long‑time friend. He described the moment as both memorable and meaningful, reflecting on the enduring bond they have shared through years of ministry and theological formation.
The Director was accompanied by a team of senior staff, including Head of Hospitality, Rev. Emmanuel Oppong Peprah; Head of Administration, Rev. Edmund Asamoah‑Yeboah and Head of Programmes, Rev. Dr. Yaw Adu Boadu.
