The Asante Presbytery has presented 200 mono desks and 30 bunk beds to the Presbyterian Girls Senior High School (Presby Girls SHS) at Chiapatre in Kumasi, in a major effort to improve teaching, learning, and boarding conditions at the school.

The donation, made on Friday, 15th May 2026, was led by the Chairperson of Presbytery, Rev. Samuel Ahima‑Yeboah, who handed over the items to the Headmistress, Mrs. Juliana Anim Yeboah, at a brief ceremony on the school compound.

Rev. Ahima‑Yeboah explained that the gesture followed a distress call from the school regarding the urgent need for classroom furniture and boarding facilities. He reaffirmed the Presbytery’s commitment to supporting Presbyterian educational institutions to create a conducive environment for effective teaching and learning, noting that quality education remains a core mandate of the Church.

Receiving the items, Mrs. Anim Yeboah expressed deep appreciation to the Presbytery for the timely intervention. She assured the leadership that the desks and beds would be well maintained and used to enhance the academic and residential experience of the students.

The ceremony was attended by key officials of the Presbytery, including Rev. Samuel Adu‑Gyamfi, Clerk of Presbytery; Rev. Baffour Owusu‑Gyimah, CLAN Director; Mr. Paul Knight French, Finance Director; Rev. Alexander Kwadwo Nyantakyi, Regional Manager of Presbyterian Schools; and Rev. Bernard Gyimah Antwi, Presbytery PRO.

Members of the School Management Committee and PTA Executives were also present to witness the presentation. The donation forms part of the Presbytery’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Presbyterian schools and ensure that students learn in safe, well‑resourced environments.
