The Presbyterian Church of Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to deepening public engagement and strengthening its educational mission through the PCG Connect platform, as the Education Department took its turn on the PCG Connect series on Tuesday.

Speaking on behalf of the Clerk of the General Assembly, Rev. David Aboagye‑Danquah, the Director of Administration and Human Resource Management, Rev. George Obeng Agyei, said the session was designed to give the Education Department of the church the opportunity to share its vision, achievements and future plans with the wider public.

He noted that education remains one of the foundational pillars of the church’s mission, and the platform provides an avenue for transparency, accountability, and collaboration. Rev. Obeng Agyei listed the progress made since the launch of PCG Connect in March.

He recalled that the Department of Social Services had earlier showcased the church’s interventions in health, education, social welfare, and community development, while the Mission and Evangelism Department shared updates on evangelism, discipleship, and mission work within and beyond Ghana.

“We are grateful for the positive reception and meaningful discussions that emerged from these sessions,” he said, emphasising that the platform has already become a valuable tool for strengthening the bond between the church and society.

He expressed appreciation to all who have supported the initiative, describing PCG Connect as a vital bridge that enhances communication, fosters understanding, and encourages collective participation in the church’s mission. He assured the public that the church remains committed to strengthening communication, deepening collaboration, and enhancing its educational mission nationwide.

Rev. Obeng Agyei reaffirmed the church’s belief that open dialogue and shared responsibility are essential for sustaining the Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s legacy of excellence in education and nation‑building.
