The Ga Presbytery has taken a major step toward full digital transformation with an intensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) training held on Saturday, 13th June 2026, at the Ga Presbytery Office.

Following the completion of the church’s comprehensive ERP System by the General Assembly Office, the Ga Presbytery was selected as one of the pilot presbyteries to lead its implementation across the denomination.

Saturday’s hands‑on session led by the Head of IT at the General Assembly Office, Mr. Enoch Narteh, focused on equipping church leaders with the skills required for efficient administration, accurate reporting, improved communication, and enhanced data management at all levels of the church.

The training brought together selected representatives from four pilot districts—Osu, Fafraha, Tema Community 1, and Tema Community 2. Each district presented two representatives, while every local congregation sent one participant, all arriving with laptops for the full‑day practical engagement.

In his opening remarks, the Clerk of Presbytery, Rev. Isaac Quist, underscored the strategic importance of the ERP rollout to the church’s modernization agenda. He urged participants to take the training seriously, emphasising punctuality, commitment, and readiness to support the system’s successful adoption.

The success of this pilot exercise is expected to pave the way for a more streamlined, data‑driven administrative future for the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, strengthening efficiency and accountability across its structures.
