The Public Relations Officer of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Mr. Jerome Otchere, has fulfilled a promise he made earlier in April during the celebration of YAF week by donating a set of media equipment to the Christ Congregation, Afutu‑Nsawam, in the Akuapem Presbytery.

The donation, presented over the weekend, is aimed at enhancing the congregation’s media and projection capacity during worship and other church programmes. The items include a foldable table, chair, extension boards, headphones, laptop bag, HDMI cables, and several other essential media tools required for effective projection and communication during services.

Mr. Otchere noted that the gesture was part of his commitment to supporting congregations—especially those with growing media interest —to improve their media operations and strengthen their worship experience. He stated that effective communication and quality projection have become indispensable in contemporary ministry, particularly in engaging young people and enhancing the overall worship atmosphere.

Mr. Otchere further pledged to pay for the cost of producing and erecting a directional sign or signboard to the church. Leaders of the Christ Congregation expressed deep appreciation to the PRO for honouring his word and for the timely support. They described the donation as a significant boost to their media unit, which has been working with limited resources.

The items, they said, will greatly improve the quality of their Sunday services, youth programmes, and other congregational activities. The congregation offered prayers of blessing for Mr. Otchere and his family, thanking God for his generosity and dedication to the growth of the church.
