The Northern Presbytery has appointed Rev. George O. A. Bondzie as its new Public Relations Officer (PRO), with the appointment taking effect from 1st September 2026. The decision was taken at a Presbytery Session Council meeting.
In an official communication signed by the Presbytery Clerk, Rev. David Achulo, the Presbytery expressed confidence in Rev. Bondzie’s ability to serve with dedication, stating that “the Lord who has called you will grant you wisdom, grace, and strength as you undertake this responsibility.”
Rev. Bondzie, who currently serves at Unity Congregation, Tamale, will work closely with the Chairperson of the Presbytery, the AHRM Director, the Finance Director, District Ministers, and all Presbytery groups and organisations. His appointment has also been formally communicated to the PR Unit of the General Assembly Office.
The Presbytery extended its congratulations and expressed anticipation of fruitful collaboration as Rev. Bondzie assumes his new role in advancing communication, visibility and public engagement across the Northern Presbytery. Across the Church, Presbyteries continue to strengthen media and public engagement structures to highlight the mission and work of the PCG.
