Akuapem Presbytery has emerged champions of the Zone Two National Zonal Bible Quiz Competition held in Akyem Oda within the West Akyem Presbytery on Saturday.
The keenly contested event brought together delegations, Junior Youth (JY) leaders and observers from four Presbyteries. After several intense rounds of Scripture testing, Akuapem Presbytery claimed first place, with Kwahu Presbytery taking second, Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery placing third, and host West Akyem Presbytery finishing fourth.
Mrs. Irene Djabakour Djorbuah‑Apronti, National Vice President of the JY Ministry, served as quiz mistress, supported by Rev. Samuel Offei, JY Coordinator for Akuapem Presbytery, and Rev. Isaac Boateng, JY Coordinator for Akyem Abuakwa Presbytery.
The competition was graced by dignitaries including the West Akyem Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Charles Baah‑Ankrah, the outgoing West Akyem Presbytery CLAN Director, zonal coordinators and representatives from all participating Presbyteries.
The event reinforced the JY Ministry’s commitment to deepening biblical knowledge and nurturing confident, Scripture‑rooted young Presbyterians across the church.
